I've always loved the look of antique samplers, tho had a lot of sympathy for the poor girls who had to embroider them! This is my homage to all the beautiful work that they did- an original screen print in the style of a vintage sampler.
This print has a nice friendly, rustic feel and would look lovely hung in an entrance hall or a kitchen and would make a lovely housewarming or hospitality present, or to add a cosy, comforting accent to your own home.
I screen print each print by hand individually- no technology or machines involved! The image is printed in vegan screen ink on beautiful 250gsm Fabriano Unica art paper which is 50% Cotton.
Then I colour each one by hand. Each print is coloured individually and each one is different- it makes it more interesting to make each one slightly different, but if there is a particular look that you are after- for instance you want the house to be pink then message me and we can discuss what you would like. :-)
The print is 8 X 6" and comes in a pale pink 10 X 8" cardboard mount, ready for framing and hanging. Please note that I had to put a size in so the size I listed was the size of the cardboard mount as that is the aperture size of the frame needed- the print itself is 8 by 6 inches.
It will be sent with a similarly sized cardboard backing board to protect it and help fit it snugly into whatever frame it goes into
