Patience is Bitter but its Fruit is Sweet. original print.

This little mouse has been waiting AGES for this strawberry to ripen and now her patience has been rewarded! I love the saying in the text of the print, I only came across it a few years ago and knew instantly that I wanted to illustrate it this way- we grow alpine strawberries and I know exactly how slowly time lengthens waiting for them to ripen.

This is an original design, screenprinted by hand and then hand coloured in acrylics and signed and comes, ready to frame, with a cardboard backing board and in a 10 X 8 inch red cardboard mount.

We are animal lovers (as you can probably tell- most of our work is inspired by nature!) and we've spent years rescuing and protecting wildlife, so we are donating 10% of the profit from this print to small wildlife rescues to support their wonderful work- we will fill you in a bit more about that when we dispatch your print to you.
